Requests for repeat prescriptions must be made in writing and require 48 hours notice and either handed in to reception or posted to us.
Repeat Prescriptions can be requested as follows:
1. Using a form, available from reception
2. Using the medication list on your original prescription, by only ticking those items which you need
3. Submitting an online request from our website. Please note you will need to sign up to Online Services before you can use this service.
You or someone on your behalf can pick up your prescription from reception during normal opening hours. If it is more convenient you can arrange for your prescription to go to a pharmacy of your choice. In this instance we endeavor that all prescriptions will go electronically, if for whatever reason this does not happen they will go via 2nd class post. If you would like your prescription posted to a home address please do not forget to supply us with a stamped addressed envelope and let the reception team know who will make a note on your file.
Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip. Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.
Use Patient Access to book an appointment, order repeat prescriptions and view your medical record.
