Appointments are 10 minutes in duration, unless specifically requested otherwise.
Please call our main switchboard number on 020 8399 6362 to book an appointment at our surgery or alternatively book online.
You can phone or come in person from 8 am to 6.30pm Monday-Fridays (and 8am to 12pm on Saturdays although please note our Saturday clinic is held at our sister practice Canbury Medical Centre) for book on the day appointments, and are offered on a 'first come, first served' basis. We are a busy practice, and providing book-on-the-day appointments makes it easier for you to see a doctor quickly.
You also have the option to book a doctor’s appointment up to four weeks in advance if this is more convenient for you. Nurse appointments can all be booked up to six weeks in advance.
Book on the day – We have telephone appointments for emergencies, that are released on the day which allow you to speak to you a doctor without having to come into the surgery. If, after speaking to you the doctor thinks you need to be seen they will arrange accordingly.
Pre-bookable - You can book in advanced to speak to a doctor, for example about test results.
We cannot provide times for telephone appointments as it is dependent on how busy the surgery is on any given day. If you miss the call for whatever reason then please call us back and we will try and transfer you. Also, numbers from the surgery may show up as 'unknown number' so please answer those calls as well.
Patients can now register for online doctors appointments. Please come into reception to register for this service. You will have to fill in a short form and bring in some form of photo ID.
Once you have been given your unique Access ID, please click the link to access the service and follow the instructions to create your account.
For same day doctors appointments please remember to re-fresh your browser at 8:30am Monday-Friday and 8am Saturday to see the latest appointment times. For all nurse appointments you will need to contact the surgery.
If you work normal surgery hours and struggling to get an appointment you may benefit from our extended hours clinics. These are held at the Surbiton Health Centre, Kingston Health Centre and Merritt Health Centre in Chessington. Appointments are available Monday to Friday evenings between 6:30 and 8:00pm as well as from 8am on Saturdays and Sundays. Evening appointments can be made by calling us here at Berrylands before 5pm while weekend appointments can be made by calling 020 3841 9942. Please note this is not a 'walk in service', an appointment must be made. See further information about extended hours clinics.
Please remember to cancel your appointment if you are unable to attend. You can do this by ringing the surgery on 020 8399 6362 or by replying 'CANCEL' to the text reminder we send you prior to your appointment. We can then offer that appointment to another patient. If you are running late, please do try and let us know, however, we cannot guarantee you will be seen if you are not on time.
Outside of surgery opening hours you will be directed to the out of hour’s service – NHS 111.

House visits are only available for patients who are housebound because of illness or any type of disability. If possible please try to telephone reception before 10:30am if you require a home visit.
A doctor may phone before the home visit as it may be that your problem can be dealt with by telephone advice, or that it would be more appropriate to send a nurse, or indeed arrange a hospital attendance.
Should you or a family member who is a patient require an interpreter to be present at your appointment please ask the receptionist to book one. Please note that we need 48 hours advance notice for this service.
